Strategic Opioid Response

Coastal Horizonsโ€™ SOR-IFPS Program is a short term, intensive (6-10 weeks) therapeutic family approach that is intended to empower and equip families with a history of opioid use who are involved in Child Welfare to gain resources and skills necessary to maintain or restore in-home placement of their children ages birth-17years. SOR-IFPS is currently serving Pender and Onslow counties.

ย The SOR-IFPS program includes: Crisis management, support with opioid use treatment and recovery, intensive case management, individual and/or family therapy, skills training, behavioral supports, preservation or reunification focus, and other rehabilitative supports.ย  These services are provided in the home with the family as well as within the community to prevent the need for out-of-home placements or stabilize a reunification; prevent further abuse and neglect; and enhance social development.
