Weather Related Operation Adjustments & Closures
As Hurricane Helene approaches the continental US, we want to remind everyone that the safety of our staff, clients and patients is our top priority. We understand the trauma many of you, your families, and our clients and patients have already experienced due to last week’s storm, whether from being stranded in cars, dealing with road flooding or washouts, or facing hazardous conditions. Please know we are here to support you during this difficult time.
With the arrival of Hurricane Helene, we are expecting heavy rains, strong winds, and possible flooding. Here are the steps we’re taking to keep everyone safe:
Steps We're Taking at Coastal Horizons:
- Routine appointments in Brunswick, Pender, and New Hanover Counties have been moved to virtual for Friday, September 27th, but all sites will remain open for walk-in intakes.
- New Hanover and Pender Counties will have delayed dosing on Friday.
- Brunswick County is distributing take-home doses today, Thursday, September 26th, for both Friday and Saturday.
- IOP in Brunswick County will be closed, while IOP in New Hanover and Pender Counties will continue operating as scheduled.
- The Justice Services' Re-Entry Simulation planned for Friday, September 27th has been postponed.
We care deeply about your well-being and want you to take every precaution possible to stay safe, both at work and at home. The reminders below are important for everyone during extreme weather conditions.
