Coastal Horizons promotes healthier lives, stronger families, and safer communities by providing a broad range of effective, evidence-based substance use, mental health, crisis intervention, justice, and wellness services to persons in need. As a nationally accredited, non-profit corporation, Coastal Horizons provides services in more than half of the one hundred counties in North Carolina.
Substance Use & Mental Health
A wide range of comprehensive, evidence-based prevention, outpatient treatment & support services are available for clients and their families, including specialized services in Spanish.
Services for victims of sexual assault, and displaced abused, neglected and vulnerable youth 6-18 years of age in need of emergency shelter are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Health & Wellness
Our Horizons Health and Wilmington Health Access for Teens programs provide
easy access to comprehensive primary care, mental health, and wellness services.
A continuum of services is provided to justice involved individuals in 53 counties of North Carolina, along with live and virtual statewide training for staff providing related services.
No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. A discounted/sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income.
